Jacqueline Qin 爹地 (Daddy)

Ever since the start of the COVID pandemic, I have not been able to go back to China to see my dad. Nevertheless, my dad has flown to Australia to try to visit us as much as possible. I realised that I took him for granted and I wish to bring out the endearing side of my dad through this portrait. This painting is a surprise gift and I hope to give it to him the next time he visits.
