Milla Freeman Noah, cut

Age 18

16-18 year olds

Noah, my younger brother, inspires my adventurous side with his love for physical activity, including skating, pier jumping and mountain biking, which is reflected in the cut on the right side of his face. While Noah’s energy is admirable, he is also a very grounded person. My portrait depicts the calm state of his thoughtful personality, with his still figure and black shirt descending into darkness. The contrast between these traits is enhanced with the light and dark chiaroscuro effect, in an attempt to communicate my love for his many qualities.
