Charles Single I’m not there

Work by Charles Single

I’m not there explores the primeval beauty of rural farming. Farmers are not only held to ransom by banks and big business, but also by their own harsh environment. At the end of the day, if it doesn’t rain, you’ll go broke and that’s the reality of it. My family has been on the land since I am able to remember. It is very important to my family’s identity, which led me to investigate this concept. All of the photographs were taken in one day. Next time you have your Weet-Bix, remember what it takes farming families to get it there.
