Bronte Hock Past future

My work asserts the importance of reconciling the traditions of the past with contemporary values for satisfaction in the present. It was inspired by a trip to Japan, which revealed a great social tension between past and future. I combined the antiquity of an anonymous Japanese photo album with complex digital animation to convey this duality in my work.
