Chris Dodds Inside the mind of a confused student

Work by Chris Dodds

Does art confuse you? Well, I’m an art student and it confuses me. What both dumbfounds me and boggles my mind is how ‘artists’ can go out and create an ‘artwork’ that is incredibly meaningless yet receive praise from art critics for its ‘conceptuality’. So, in violent revolt, I have used digital animation to create an artwork that is just as erroneous!

If you have trouble understanding my artwork, let me explain: it is a fictitious story of how Picasso really lived, and how he later created one of his most ‘conceptual’ artworks, Les Demoiselles d’Avignon.
